Melodic Playground has always been about more than music. It has always been about people, creativity, discovery, community, and finding the things that make life a little more exciting. As we move forward into our next chapter, we’re proud to announce a new priority — one that is very close to our hearts: Lyric’s Journey.
For years, Melodic Playground has been committed to supporting the best of the underground music scene. From independent artists and musicians to DJs, producers, creators, and personalities, our mission has always been to shine a light on talent that deserves to be heard. That mission isn’t changing. In fact, it’s getting bigger.
But life is about more than one passion.
As Lyric begins her journey, Melodic Playground is evolving alongside her. This new chapter is about family, community, memories, and discovering new ways for all of us to connect. Lyric’s Journey has become a priority, and we want to share that journey with the same people who have supported Melodic Playground throughout the years.
One of the biggest parts of this new chapter is community building on Whatnot. We’re creating a place where collectors, hobbyists, music fans, sports fans, Pokémon fans, and everyday people can come together, have some fun, discover something cool, and become part of the Playground.
And sometimes, the hobby is simply a way to decompress.
There is something special about opening a pack of Pokémon cards, hunting for that one card you’ve been looking for, discovering a great sports card, talking collectibles with friends, or just sitting back and enjoying a live stream. In a world that can feel overwhelming, hobbies give us a chance to slow down, have fun, and reconnect with the things that make us happy.
That’s what we want Melodic Playground to be — a place to play, explore, collect, laugh, discover, and connect.
Our Whatnot community will continue growing, with Pokémon, sports cards, collectibles, giveaways, live interactions, and plenty of surprises along the way. We want to build something that feels less like a store and more like a community hangout — a digital Playground where everybody has a reason to stop by.
At the same time, our commitment to underground music remains at the heart of everything we do. Melodic Playground Radio continues to broadcast around the clock, our magazine continues to tell stories, and we will continue searching for the artists, records, and creative voices that deserve attention.
This is not the end of the old Melodic Playground.
It’s the beginning of something bigger.
It’s music. It’s community. It’s collecting. It’s creativity. It’s family. It’s discovering new passions and creating memories along the way.
