Baby Lyric has Arrived: Our Greatest Creation

It’s official — the moment we've been dreaming about, praying for, and working so hard toward has finally arrived. On a beautiful day at Riverside Kaiser Permanente, Queen Meladee and I (DJ Meladik) welcomed our miracle baby into the world: Lyric Jaxon Presley. He arrived healthy and strong, weighing in at 7 lbs, 12 oz, and already carrying the rhythm of our hearts in his tiny hands.

Words don’t quite capture the emotional rollercoaster we’ve been on. From the anticipation and nerves leading up to the birth, to the overwhelming rush of love the moment we held him for the first time — this journey has been nothing short of life-changing. Every second has been filled with emotion, gratitude, and a newfound sense of purpose.

We’ve officially entered a whole new chapter. As artists, we’ve poured our souls into music, business, and community, but nothing compares to the artistry of creating life. Lyric Jaxon is more than just our son — he’s the reason we’re rethinking everything, from our daily hustle to the legacy we want to leave behind.

Being first-time parents isn’t easy. Let’s be real — trying to juggle life, business, and relationships is already a high-wire act. But add the constant instinct to check if your baby is breathing every five minutes, and it becomes a whole new circus act. Sleep is a myth, routines are chaos, and emotions are on full volume. Yet somehow, we wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

To honor this monumental moment, I put together a short YouTube video introducing Lyric to the world. It’s raw, real, and filled with the love we feel for our baby boy. This video isn't just an announcement — it's the beginning of a story we plan to tell for the rest of our lives. From late-night feedings to first smiles, we’re documenting it all — not for clout, but because this is the realest story we’ve ever lived.

In the midst of joy, there’s also a quiet pressure — the responsibility to evolve, to rise, to be better than ever. Not for fame, not for followers, but for Lyric. We want him to grow up knowing that his parents didn’t just talk about dreams — we chased them, caught them, and lived them out loud. Now, we’re taking that same energy and pouring it into parenthood.

Special thank yo all the doctors and staff at Kaiser Permanente and Thank you to everyone who’s shown us love during this time. Your messages, prayers, and support mean the world to us. We feel blessed beyond belief, even when we're running on fumes and baby cries.

So here’s to Lyric Jaxon Presley — our little king, our new melody, the light in our sleepless nights. This is just the beginning.

3 Albums in 3 Months - Summer 2024

My entire life has been a struggle so it was only fitting that the Summer of 2024 would present some of the most difficult challenges of my adult life. Once again I was forged by a fire that not only fueled my survival but in turn strengthened the man made of steel. I have a podcast to tell my crazy story. However I just can't record enough episodes to keep up with the roller coaster rides. The smiles, the cries and living on the edge of insanity. My entire life I have dealt with the pains in my brain by playing sports or losing myself into the perfect song that expressed my mood. This is why I created Melodic Playground.... to express myself.

The radio station is nearing it's 5 anniversary but the truth is it's like a baby chick trying to break out the shell. Melodic Playground Radio still has yet to stretched it's legs. Believe it or not I was a rapper in my past life. I learned how to mix and DJ on a basic level but it wasn't until the pandemic that I took my first music lesson. So for the record I created Melodic Playground Radio before i ever had my first music lesson. 6 lessons to be exact and I spent more time talking than learning. So I truly am self taught and Youtube is my only sensei. 

I began broadcasting 24 hours a day, My music only. Really you can call it my learning process. I would listen to my radio station to take a break from the other radio stations and eventually my radio station got bigger and better. This year I opened it up to other artists in my network that deserve some shine and now my radio station sounds just as good as any other station out there. Some might say it's better and if they aren't, they will be saying it soon. My plan is turn it into an official ascap station for 2025.

With these plans in sight it was time to drop my 1st album , the appetizer " Meladik Kandy " but the day after my release someone crashed into my car. Long story short, when Queen Meladee was in the hospital we were forced to get a cheaper insurance company and now they are trying to say the car is totaled. They are trying to leave me without a car, no money to get a new car and a $7,000 debt on a car they the finance company is trying to reclaim because the insurance company ( which has yet to look at the car ) is saying it's totaled. The whole system is rigged and both law firms I hired , Colony Law and Sweet James have extremely disappointed me. The driver hit me, admitted it and still every institution involved is getting paid at my expense. No urgency to get me car, no conscience to do the right thing for the victim. I will be talking about this more in detail in the future but I had to mention it today to explain how my whole summer was taken from me.

With no car I began losing clients and my day job was fading away. I was losing way more than I was making because Melodic Playground was suppose to be my hobbie / side job. This Summer I had no choice but to spend 12-15 hour shifts at the studio. Making music, marketing artists, advertisers and sponsors. I use to do 12 hours of construction so 12 hours in the music studio is nothing to me but while I am over here trying to keep the dream alive, one of my so called best friends wanted me to commit a crime. He wanted me to cash some blank checks in my bank account. Sounds like a set up right? Doesn't it Sound like I would have easily been caught...  makes you think like he wasn't really a friend right?

Plenty of other things went wrong this Summer and on the verge of ending up in Patton Mental Facility. I locked myself in the studio and did it again. I was able to get another sponsor which paid for the mastering on " Secret Sauce " and that gave me the medicine of hope. Hope is stronger than most drugs and for someone like me just a sniff of Hope was all I needed to keep the dream alive.

These songs have feelings and help me get through my rough days, so I really don't care if anyone else listens. Finishing the songs, mastering them and working on the album covers took my mind off the turmoil I was going through. Kept me out of jail. Many of the songs made me feel proud of how far I have come as engineer but I know I have much more to learn. I don't have the skills to express myself the way I want but I am getting closer with each track and " Gunna Luv Me" is a sample of what's on the way.

The Be Dope Mixtape was the 3rd album of the Summer. I was able to use samples of my Daughter "  Princess Rayleen" on a few songs. Queen Meladee was the model for my album cover and B-Dope Water came back to sponsor the album and pay for my mastering. This Summer was testing but in many ways the perfect definition of my life. Nothing in my life goes as planned. It's always a uphill battling a slippery slope but I don't give up because I have this fire inside of me... a passion burning to be what I really want to be, who I really want to be. 1 Million in Crypto Stolen

 It took me roughly 6 months to have to nerve to share this incident on my blog. It's a true story and it really hit me hard. Hopefully sharing with my readers and listeners can help prevent others from becoming the victim. At he end of the day I truly believe Binance Smart Chain s and trust Wallet stole my crypto.

After learning what Trust wallet is meant to be, I grew extremely excited to have a completely decentralized wallet. Incase you don't know... Trust wallet is created, owned and operated by Binance. The Trust wallet is very much similair to using a metamask wallet.. except intended to use on the Binance  Smart Chain.

Setting up a Trust wallet does not require any personal information. Not name, No email, No phone and No Social security number. I knew the risks of using a wallet like this but the worst did happen and I have to share it with you all.

Shortly after learning how to use the wallet i began to target new coins that had yet to go mainstream or be added to the major defi exchanges. I had some success but when I rolled those profits over into a coin called Infinite X, I lost it all. The INX coin was well under a dollar and I was able to get roughly 970 Million tokens. Almost a billion!

the next day the coin pumped and my wallet was loaded and I wanted to lighten to the load. After getting the alert I got online ASAP  to cash out my coins only to and realized that all my coins were gone.

Well not all just the  millions of INFINITE X!!

I freaked out, cried and went numb. I googled ways to find out how or why they got my coins and i found out all the transactions on the Binance Smart Chain are public record and visible on BSCAN. There is was... a record of what happened to my coins. It looked like something far past my experience level and I had no way to reverse it or prevent it from happening again.

\I contacted support for TRUST wallet via email plus sent screenshost and transaction info. They replied with an automated message and made no attempt to resolve the matter or review it further to prevent it from happening again. Prior to the theft I always recieved alerts to approve the transaction, but Iwas never sent any alerts of these transactions. Combine that with the Lack of effort and the fact no one had my seed words... I believe Binace.US and TRUST wallet are both in on the scam. 

I have never had this problem anywhere else. Not with any DEFI or any Traditional banks. I have never lost my facebook login, I have never even lost a wallet since the 1st and only time I lost my wallet in 4th grade. This was the biggest loss of my life and there was not a single thing I could do to help myself.

1 Year Anniversary

It sure was a long year. The extended version of the pandemic made it feel like 2 years. The roller coaster ride involved several ups and downs but overall it was a very productive year. After launching the website and blog, i built the radio station, made plenty of new music and even launched my own podcast. It's just me and I really only do this part time but according to number or listeners and advertisers there are had been a tremendous amount of growth.

I learned so much over the past year.. about stocks, crpyto.... even myself. I learned so much that I cant help but believe that 2022 is going to be my best year. Only time will tell but after 12 months its certainly time for a anniversary toast.

Thank you to each and everyone of you in the network. I really appreciate all of your support, time, attention and love. I still have plenty of room for growth... plenty of goals and creative ideas. Lets see how far 2022 can really take me. Lets see where it can take us!

Shiba is Taking Over Crypto

 

Everyone that cares about crypto has heard of Shiba but it appears that the rest of the world is learning. Bitcoin just kissed a new all time high and is now in a tiny correction before going for 100k. Ethereum is right on track and doge is..... well what is doge coin doing?

If anyone has any news on doge coin raise your hand...........

Ok well maybe the reason there is no new news on doge is because all the buzz is about Shiba Inu. I first heard of Shiba on May 8th. I was trolling the youtube chats, twitter timelines and facebook groups looking for the news that would put dogecoin over a dollar. Elon Musk was suppose to be on Saturday Night Live that night and his whole network begged him to do a Doge skit. He did but his counterparts were prepared and the FUDD began to ensue.

Weaving amongst the FUDD lurking for a hidden gem I found thousands of posts, comments and retweets saying the crypto coin Shiba was the Doge Killer. So many said it that I began to question my weight in DOGE. Could there be such a thing? What the heck is SHIBA?

I did a little research....and apparently the globe wants a meme coins to replace the dollar, only problem is we have not agreed on which meme coin it will be. I thought is was going to be doge, it still may be..... but I had to buy some Shiba just in case.

at the time you could get like 5 million Shiba for $50. My calculator told me that if the 5 million coins went to a penny my $50 would turn into $50,000 and if it reached $1.00 i would have 5 million dollars. it was a no brainer, So i bought so Shiba... then I bought some more and Some more.

I have been part of the SHIBA Club since May 8th... I never expected it to hit a penny this cycle but if the rest of the world is waking up then we will be riding this wave til Christmas and having Happy Holidays. If you dont have any now i suggest you get some before it is too late... all my real followers already got theirs lol

What's up party people! we are officially in the second leg of the historic global coin rush. Coinbase just launched their IPO on wall street. Doge coin is finally getting talked about at the dinner table. The coin market cap is approaching 3 trillion. Crypto is here to stay!

As you know I have been chasing this coins like sonic so hard I moved my entire savings into coins but I am a poor man trying to make a dollar out of 15cents and I only have so much to work with. Mix that with the fact that most of my friends, family and clients cant seem to comprehend the evolutionary changes we are going through,... it was easy too see that it was time to create my first investment group.

Allow me to introduce  DJ Meladik lol .... the co-founder of the Coin Rush Crew. Thats Right!!! On April 13th, my client Mr Wallace and I formed CRC with hopes of turning $1,000 into a $1,000,000.

Mr Wallace invested $1,000. I am contributing my research, experience and over $200 worth of coins I felt would 100x or even 1000x. the very next day Doge coin spiked and as you know I am part of the Doge coin army which I have plenty of doge in my own account too, DO YOU?? Told YA!!!!!!!

Our portfolio has nearly a dozen coins already but there is no exchange that holds all the coins in our portfolio. the coins are scattered on different exchanges and that made it impossible to kept track of our portfolio, so I decided to search for a site that helps track my coins. It took about 10 minutes to stumble on CoinStats.app and about 30 minutes after that i had added all the coins of our portfolio to my tracker.

You can sync you exchange with CoinStats.app and it would do it automatically but honestly Im afraid to so that, so i had to input them manually. It was fairly easy and exactly what i needed to share with mr Wallace and future members of CRC.

That's right the coin rush crew is looking for more investors. As of right now the buy in is $1,000 but will go up soon. We are not cashing out until we hit a million... that means the more investors we have the faster we get there. Catching up with AR Base

Its been a long time since I have seen AR but he was the first artist I reached out to since launching Melodic Playground. I want this Radio Station and Website to be motivational and uplifting and I think AR as person and as an artist fits that criteria perfectly. I first met the soft spoke Christian over 15 years ago while were coworkers at a local telemarketing agency. We had a lot in common as we both believe in a higher power, both aspiring artists and as almost 2 decades have passed I thought it would be a good chance to catch up with AR by interviewing him for my blog. Maybe after Covid clears up we can sit down for a Youtube interview but this time around I had a few questions he was kind of to answer for me.

#1 My first question today is where were you born and where did you grow u?

AR: I was born in Lagos. Even though I have lived most of my life in the United States, my growth as an artist and individual which is diverse is from being influenced by the awesome elements in Africa, the United States and The UK, whilst always appreciating all cultures.

#2 as a child what did you dream about growing up to become? 

AR: Soccer Player, Artist. 

 #3 how old were you when you recorded you first song, what was it called? 

AR: The 1st song I recorded was called “Breath of Life”, and I was 16 when I recorded it. 

 #4 If you cold choose just one of yours songs for the entire world to hear what would be it be?

AR: Especially with what going on now with the covid, it would be my song “No Plague” 

 #5 Do you have any new music coming out that we can share with the network?

AR: I have a new song that drops on valentines this 2021 that is a Chill Hip Hop/RNB Song that is about Loving God that called “When You Loved” by AR Base, that I would be very glad to share. 

 #6 Randomly I would like to know... if God gave you the ability to change civilization... what is the one thing you would change to improve this planet.

AR: Simply put Love, It would be to encourage people to love and show kindness to people that you don’t know personally, and not to be unkind or other people because they are unique or think differently. 

 #7 finally my last question today is for all the starving artist out there with a dream.... can you give some quick advice for the dreamers out there chasing their goals.

AR: Both success and failure can happen in a moment even though it didnt take a moment to create both situations. Its best to always focus on taking just the next step forward and not 4 steps in a bid to copy someone else or you will fall, but once you keep on taking steps one by one, one day you will make it and it would seem like it happened overnight.
