Marc Biala - Streaming Soon… but Not on Netflix!

Austin, Texas just got a fresh dose of indie magic — and it comes with a side of popcorn, a comfy couch, and a whole lot of sass. Marc Biala, one of the city’s most standout and unapologetically authentic indie artists, is gearing up to drop his brand-new single, Netcflickin, on September 5, 2025. And let’s be real… if you know Marc, you already know this is going to be more than just a song. It’s a mood. It’s a vibe. It’s a whole binge-worthy experience.

The title alone tells you everything you need to know. Marc is a self-proclaimed Netflix addict — the kind who doesn’t just “watch a few episodes” but fully commits to twelve-hour marathons like it’s an Olympic sport. From cult documentaries to cheesy rom-coms, from intense thrillers to wild reality TV, Marc has probably seen it all… twice. So when he writes a song called Netcflickin, you know it’s inspired by real, lived-in, remote-in-hand experience.

But this isn’t just some fun little streaming joke — Marc has turned it into an anthem. The track blends witty storytelling with his signature indie-pop-meets-electronic production, creating a soundtrack for anyone who’s ever texted “just one more episode” at 3 a.m. The song’s hook? Catchy enough to get stuck in your head faster than Netflix asks, “Are you still watching?”

Alongside the single, Marc is serving up a full visual feast. The Netcflickin music video, dropping the same day, is part love letter to streaming culture, part comedic masterpiece. Picture Marc in a fluffy robe, surrounded by snacks, flipping through endless titles while dancing around the living room. It’s playful, relatable, and guaranteed to make you laugh — and then immediately add the song to your playlist.

While the single is quirky and fun, Marc Biala’s presence in the music world is anything but one-dimensional. As a proud LGBT activist, Marc uses his platform to amplify voices, advocate for inclusion, and break down barriers in the indie scene. His music, interviews, and community work all share a common thread: authenticity. He doesn’t just sing about life — he lives it in a way that makes people feel seen.

In the heart of Austin, Marc’s name is already buzzing in coffee shops, record stores, and live venues. His earlier releases have earned him a loyal following that spans far beyond Texas, and Netcflickin feels like the next big leap. Fans love that he can turn everyday moments — whether it’s heartbreak, activism, or a night of streaming — into art that connects.

September 5, 2025, isn’t far away, and the hype is real. Here at Melodic Playground, we’re beyond excited to introduce Netcflickin to our network, spin it on our station, and share the video and artwork with our listeners. Marc Biala isn’t just releasing a song; he’s inviting us all to press play, grab the snacks, and join him for a musical binge session we won’t forget.

Until then, keep your Wi-Fi strong and your calendars marked. The stream-worthy single of the year is coming.

KCMO Artist Spotlight - Young Rillo

Every now and then, an artist comes through and makes us stop what we’re doing, turn the volume up, and really listen. That’s exactly what happened when Young Rillo landed in our inbox. Straight outta Kansas City, Missouri, this brother is the truth. And now that he's officially part of the Melodic Playground Radio family, it’s only right we let y’all know what time it is.

Let’s talk about that joint “H.E.R.” featuring Kevin Church Johnsons. Man, this one right here? It’s a whole vibe. It’s smooth, it’s soulful, it’s storytelling with substance. Rillo ain’t just throwing bars—he’s painting pictures. And Kevin? That brother brought some grown-man soul to the mix. The way the two of them play off each other is magic. This ain’t no fast food music—this is that real deal, cook-it-slow, feel-it-deep type of joint.

But hold up… just when we thought we had Rillo figured out, he flipped the energy and hit us with “Got Me Lit Up”. And let me tell you—that one’s a whole summer anthem. That’s backyard BBQ music. That’s pull-up-on-ya-people-feeling-good music. It’s confident. It’s catchy. It’s the one you blast on repeat while you shine on your haters. Rillo showed us both sides—emotional depth and big flex energy. And we’re here for all of it.

Now over here at Melodic Playground, we don’t just spin songs—we break artists. We support the ones that deserve more ears, more light, and more love. And Rillo? He’s exactly the kind of artist we get excited about. Ain’t no gimmicks, ain’t no chasing trends—just raw talent, real stories, and a style that can ride in any region.

Rillo’s got that Midwest hunger, but his flow got West Coast ease. He makes it look easy, but you can tell it comes from a place of grind, lessons, and lived experience. Whether he’s rapping about love, loyalty, or leveling up, there’s purpose behind every word.

We’re not just proud to have him on the station—we’re honored. Real talk.

So if you ain’t caught the wave yet, now’s your chance. Go run up “H.E.R.”. Then hit Got Me Lit Up and tell me that ain’t a heater. Trust me, once you hear Young Rillo, you’ll get it.

Kansas City stand up—your boy is out here putting on heavy.

And to the rest of the world? Pay attention. Rillo’s not just up next. He’s already here.

Welcome to the Playground, fam.

Paul Geno – A True Voice of the Red, White & Blue

There’s a new name lighting up the airwaves here at Melodic Playground Radio, and we’re thrilled to make it official: Paul Geno is the latest artist to join our ever-growing indie music family. Paul Geno brings a global perspective, heartfelt lyrics, and good old-fashioned American spirit to the indie scene. With the release of his latest single, “Hi Howdy America,” Geno has captured the essence of summer, freedom, and cross-cultural connection in one unforgettable anthem.

From the very first spin, “Hi Howdy America” stood out as a bold, catchy, and refreshingly sincere record. It's a summer soundtrack for backyard barbecues, road trips, and flag-waving celebrations—a song that embraces the red, white, and blue with style, soul, and substance. With crisp guitar riffs, an easygoing groove, and Paul’s warm vocal delivery, it’s no wonder the track immediately earned a spot in daily rotation on Melodic Playground Radio.

But that was only the beginning.

Impressed by the strength and originality of “Hi Howdy America,” we reached out to Paul to see what else he had in the vault. What we received was nothing short of amazing. His follow-up single, “What Am I Supposed to Do,” shows another side of his artistry—emotionally raw, musically rich, and lyrically thoughtful. While “Hi Howdy America” waves the flag with joy and optimism, “What Am I Supposed to Do” dives into deeper waters, asking the kind of questions that live in every honest artist’s heart.

With two stellar tracks now playing daily on our station, it’s clear Paul Geno isn’t just a one-hit wonder—he’s a genuine force on the indie music landscape. His sound blends folk-rock warmth with Americana storytelling, creating a vibe that’s both timeless and timely. His songs invite listeners in, offering comfort, questions, and connection. Whether you're dancing in the kitchen or reflecting by the fire, there's a Paul Geno track that fits the mood.

As always, Melodic Playground Radio is about more than just playing great music. We aim to celebrate the stories behind the songs, and we’re eager to learn more about Paul’s journey—from his roots in Papua New Guinea to his love affair with American music culture. Who inspired him? What fuels his writing process? What’s next on his musical roadmap? You can expect answers to all that and more in the upcoming issue of Melodic Playground Magazine, where we’ll be spotlighting Paul and several other standout artists from our growing radio family.

We encourage all of our listeners and supporters to discover more of Paul Geno’s work by visiting his Bandcamp page, where his latest tracks are available for streaming and download. Supporting indie artists like Paul is what keeps the spirit of independent music alive and thriving, and there’s never been a better time to jump in and become a fan.

To Paul Geno, we say this: Welcome home. Your voice, your message, and your melodies have found a place where they belong—right here, with us, on Melodic Playground Radio. We’re proud to amplify your sound, share your story, and stand beside you as your audience continues to grow.

Stay tuned for more from Paul Geno, and don’t forget to keep your radios locked on Melodic Playground—where indie lives, breathes, and thrives.

Genre-Bending Music Maverick: Marc Biala

At first glance, Marc Biala might seem like two different people living in one body. By day, he’s a psychiatric and transgender specialist in Austin, Texas, helping untangle the complexities of the human mind. By night, Marc transforms into a one-man music factory, channeling his own chaos into raw, unfiltered tracks. Melodic Playground Radio is thrilled to announce that Marc is the newest artist added to our daily rotation, bringing his unique blend of synth-pop and dance beats to our airwaves.

Marc’s music isn’t just a hobby—it’s a lifeline. Between therapy sessions and consultations, he finds solace in his home studio, producing tracks that are equal parts catchy and cathartic. His ability to fuse different genres with ease makes his sound both unpredictable and unforgettable. One moment, you’re lost in a synth-heavy dance anthem, and the next, you’re vibing to a hip-hop beat laced twith a whole lot of heart—think emotional punches paired with hooks that refuse to leave your head.

What makes Marc truly stand out is his DIY ethic. He writes, produces, and records every track himself—no big teams, no fancy labels, just him, his laptop, and a brain that refuses to stay in one lane. This hands-on approach gives his music an authenticity that’s hard to find in today’s industry. Marc’s lyrics pull no punches, exploring everything from mental health struggles to identity and acceptance, often delivered with a dose of humor and a wink to the listener.

Listening to Marc’s music is like a therapy session with an 808 beat. Tracks like these are made for those late-night drives when the world feels too heavy, or those mornings when you need a beat to remind you that you’ve got this. His ability to navigate between uplifting anthems and vulnerable ballads creates a dynamic listening experience that resonates with anyone living life in full color.

Marc’s songs aren’t afraid to get real. They embrace the messiness of life—the heartbreaks, the triumphs, the awkward pauses in between—with a sound that’s both polished and unapologetically raw. His freestyles slap, his melodies soothe, and his lyrics cut straight to the heart of what it means to be human. This duality makes his music a perfect fit for Melodic Playground Radio, where authenticity is always in rotation.

Joining Melodic Playground Radio is just the beginning for Marc Biala. With plans to release more music throughout the year, he’s ready to expand his reach and connect with listeners who crave something real. Whether you’re into synth-pop, hip-hop, or just need a soundtrack for your beautifully messy life, Marc’s got you covered.

So turn up the volume, and let Marc Biala take you on a ride you’ll never forget. Welcome to the Melodic Playground family, Marc—we’re just getting started.

The Queen Has Arrived

A few months ago I realized that it would be a lot more fun having a co-host for my podcast. However I knew finding the right fit would be like hitting the Lotto. Long before wanting a co-host I sought after business partners, bandmates, assistants and more forms of help. I have went without for sooo long, doing it by my lonely that I was on the verge of giving up on others but just when I felt like closing that door, I found Queen Meladee.

Queen Meladee was working at a local Stater Bros as a cashier and box girl. As soon as I laid my eyes on her I knew She was the Wonder Woman and Vice President I needed. I first went thru her check out line with hope of getting her phone number but She instantly rejected me in front of several others customers in line.

I had no choice but to use my final life line and call in the favor from Cupid but Cupid said that he was too busy since it was Valentines week. So I bribed him with a little Bitcoin to expedite the service. I gave Cupid enough crypto to make a arrow stronger than the glove of Thanos.

We completely rewired Meladee. Wiped her brain and memory clean. She literally has no recollection of her life prior to meeting me. She believes she was born with the sole purpose to assist me and build with me. She has recently quit her Stater Bros job and devoted her life to Me, My podcast and my Goals.

Call it Friendship, Call it a Blessing... or Call it a Ruffie, whatever it is.... it has me feeling more complete than I ever have. I now have my Best Friend, My Business Partner, My Swolemate and the podcast is just a way to bring you all along for the ride as we get rich from investing in crypto. So check it out... SHOW SOME LOVE and get your bag right too!

1 Year Anniversary

It sure was a long year. The extended version of the pandemic made it feel like 2 years. The roller coaster ride involved several ups and downs but overall it was a very productive year. After launching the website and blog, i built the radio station, made plenty of new music and even launched my own podcast. It's just me and I really only do this part time but according to number or listeners and advertisers there are had been a tremendous amount of growth.

I learned so much over the past year.. about stocks, crpyto.... even myself. I learned so much that I cant help but believe that 2022 is going to be my best year. Only time will tell but after 12 months its certainly time for a anniversary toast.

Thank you to each and everyone of you in the network. I really appreciate all of your support, time, attention and love. I still have plenty of room for growth... plenty of goals and creative ideas. Lets see how far 2022 can really take me. Lets see where it can take us!

At first I wanted to create the podcast to inform my people but then i decided to add a few sponsors and advertisements. Now I have decided to use it as a training course as I began to offer my advise the the community, anyone willing to donate or hire me.

Sara gives Music Lessons

As the lock down begins to ease up, I have to ask... did you use your time wisely? Many around the globe found themselves with extra time as our normal routines were dramatically affected. Some of you think like me, using the time to learn stocks, make music and build a new company. Some had to adjust to new jobs or work environments but countless also found themselves binging on Netflix.

I am not here to judge! LOL! I am here to motivate!

Well all love music, in some form or fashion, we all have heard something that has sonically made us feel magical. The magic of music can heal one's mind, heart or soul. Music breaks down barriers. It unites the divided. I know I would be a different man without it and I am convinced that without music the worlds turmoil would be much more severe.

Music is gift from the gods and Sara will teach you how to feel like your  on your way to heaven. There is nothing like your first lesson. You can feel it in your spirit as you spread your wings. You can feel it in your brain as your mind is opened and your first class will pleasantly make you feel like a kid again. You will literally feel like your in kindergarten leaving with your head held high and a handful of homework.

Personally I have been making music for almost 20 years but it wasn't until recently that I had my first ever music lesson. I have been using my ears to make music but I finally found the time to learn how to read, write and speak the language. Sara makes learning quite easy and ultimately its guaranteed to make me a better musician.

Sara has been providing Music lesson since 2005. You can visit here website to see what type of lessons she provides. Sara and her staff provide a variety of lessons regardless of your experience. Whether your trying to pass the time, impress your spouse for the anniversary, make music your career or just pick up a new hobby... there is a music lesson for you. You can book a session at Sara's, an online lesson or she can arrange a mobile lesson at the location of your choice. Don't try to use convenience as an excuse.

I know there are plenty of companies and teachers providing lessons but if your looking for your first lesson I strongly recommend giving this small business a chance. If I can afford it, you can! It's super convenient and will feel like such relief after the pandemic of 2020. No matter who you are, I'm sure your mental health was drained a bit during this global lockdown... your breath of fresh air is just a phone call away. You wont regret the choice and after you learn to play the instrument of your choice... feel free to send an mp3 or video my way.. I would love to hear what you create, who knows it might end up on Melodic Playground Radio.

It All Started With Fruity Loops

A few months after my Daughter was born I got my first taste of Fruity Loops. Not the breakfast cereal, LOL! I'm talking about the digital audio workstation (DAW) nowadays referred to as FL Studio. In many ways it Seems like yesterday. Time sure flew bye and my daughter is a Senior in high school now. So much has changed since 2003 but amazingly I am still using Fruity Loops and it's still the best overall DAW in the industry.

I have tried several other Digital Audio Workstations... but nothing compares to FL Studio. Imagine have a whole recording studio in your laptop. Hundreds of instruments, thousands of sounds and Millions of combinations. The software itself takes a few hours to learn but after a few simple basics, you literally have limitless creativity.

Most dreamers like me can not afford fancy mixers or sequencers. An external MPC alone can cost thousands but you can have it all at your finger tips with FL Studio. It's very affordable and within a few clicks you go from piano to guitar and back to piano. You don't have to run around the studio, dont have to switch gear or inputs.

It doesn't matter if your interested in music as a hobby.. or if you are doing it professionally, If you have not tried FL Studio your missing out. I highly suggest you give this DAW a chance. Even to this day the production company Image Line is still offering anyone a FREE DOWNLOAD of the demo version, SO its basically a risk free trial. You don't have to put in any credit info, no subscriptions and I don't even get a paid for the referal

I use Imageline FL STUDIO, I have been and I will continue to always use it, If you would like to try it for yourself CLICK HERE FOR YOUR FREE DOWNLOAD.... check it out and let me know hear what you create. Until next time,......Be Good! Be Meladik!

Catching up with AR Base

Its been a long time since I have seen AR but he was the first artist I reached out to since launching Melodic Playground. I want this Radio Station and Website to be motivational and uplifting and I think AR as person and as an artist fits that criteria perfectly. I first met the soft spoke Christian over 15 years ago while were coworkers at a local telemarketing agency. We had a lot in common as we both believe in a higher power, both aspiring artists and as almost 2 decades have passed I thought it would be a good chance to catch up with AR by interviewing him for my blog. Maybe after Covid clears up we can sit down for a Youtube interview but this time around I had a few questions he was kind of to answer for me.

#1 My first question today is where were you born and where did you grow u?

AR: I was born in Lagos. Even though I have lived most of my life in the United States, my growth as an artist and individual which is diverse is from being influenced by the awesome elements in Africa, the United States and The UK, whilst always appreciating all cultures.

#2 as a child what did you dream about growing up to become?

AR: Soccer Player, Artist.

#3 how old were you when you recorded you first song, what was it called?

AR: The 1st song I recorded was called “Breath of Life”, and I was 16 when I recorded it.

#4 If you cold choose just one of yours songs for the entire world to hear what would be it be?

AR: Especially with what going on now with the covid, it would be my song “No Plague”

#5 Do you have any new music coming out that we can share with the network?

AR: I have a new song that drops on valentines this 2021 that is a Chill Hip Hop/RNB Song that is about Loving God that called “When You Loved” by AR Base, that I would be very glad to share.

#6 Randomly I would like to know... if God gave you the ability to change civilization... what is the one thing you would change to improve this planet.

AR: Simply put Love, It would be to encourage people to love and show kindness to people that you don’t know personally, and not to be unkind or other people because they are unique or think differently.

#7 finally my last question today is for all the starving artist out there with a dream.... can you give some quick advice for the dreamers out there chasing their goals.

AR: Both success and failure can happen in a moment even though it didnt take a moment to create both situations. Its best to always focus on taking just the next step forward and not 4 steps in a bid to copy someone else or you will fall, but once you keep on taking steps one by one, one day you will make it and it would seem like it happened overnight.

Big SHOUT OUT to AR BASE for taking the time to answer my questions. It was awesome catching up with you. I hope everyone takes the time to check out his new single on spotify, apple or wherever you tune in. Show some love and find AR on social media.... much better follow than most of the characters out there. Until the next time ... Much Love Fam!

DJ Meladik on Reverb Nation

It's not hard to find a website to host and share your music. The hard part is choosing the right one for you. Some sites might have different features and communities so many artists join as many as they can. I'm not going to chase fans, fame or money and I certainly don't have the time to personally manage 20 different social media pages.

After researching the best site for me... one of the major site i chose to go with is Reverb Nation. I have narrowed it down with a few major go to sites but Reverb Nation seems to offer so many tools on an in depth yet simple platform. On Reverb I will post as many tracks as i can for you listen to. Personally as a writer I would love a chance to write to a track of vibe with an idea before committing to a instrumental, sound, or producer... especially if it costs money. With this platform you can vibe out and write to my beats, take your time and be creative before approaching me with an offer for the track.

On Reverb I can upload my newest creation and with each like, share or fan that song will move up local, country and global charts. The site offers 3rd party opportunities, record deals and much more. I'm excited to share this awesome site with you as I know it can help any and all starving artists. Check me out my Reverb and I will check out yours. I am also sharing all of your pages, songs, widgets etc for anyone who submits music to Melodic Playground Radio.
